ABOUT THE HOUSE
Built in the 18th century, Number One has the thick stone walls typical of rural French villages - cool in summer, warm in winter. Situated in a quiet pedestrian street high in the village, the house offers amazing views of the surrounding valley and hills. There is plenty of free parking nearby.
After extensive renovation in the autumn of 2017, the house is now a welcoming holiday let/gite. Originally two houses, the holiday home you see today includes four double bedrooms, two shower rooms, a comfy open plan kitchen / diner, two sitting rooms, two terraces and extensive cellars. |
It’s fully equipped with WiFi, dishwasher, oven, microwave, TV, DVD player and washing machine. For families with young travellers, there's also a travel cot, baby bath, paddling pool and more. All bed linen and towels are provided as well as a hairdryer. If you're bringing bikes / kayaks / pushchairs and other outdoor gear, there's lockable storage too.
It's a short stroll to the local shops, restaurants and bars. If you fancy dining at home, the two terraces are perfect to watch swallows and bats swoop over the village while enjoying a glass of wine - a wonderful way to spend an evening! |
